At the LAVOCIER Foundation, our mission is to transform lives and strengthen communities by investing in two of the most fundamental pillars of human dignity and societal progress: safe, affordable housing and accessible education infrastructure for children and families in underserved regions around the world.
We believe that shelter and schooling are human rights, not privileges — and our purpose is to expand access to both where they are most scarce.
The Need Is Urgent — Rooted in Global Reality

Today, 2.8 billion people worldwide lack access to adequate housing, with approximately 318 million people homeless and 1.1 billion living in informal settlements such as slums or substandard housing conditions. If global trends continue, as many as 3 billion people will still require adequate housing by 2030 without significant intervention.

The lack of secure, affordable homes contributes directly to poverty, instability, health inequities, and disrupted family and community life — often trapping entire generations in cycles of hardship.

At the same time, education remains out of reach for millions of vulnerable children. Around 85 million crisis-affected school-age children are currently out of school, denied the chance to learn, grow, and build sustainable futures.

Even for those enrolled, quality instruction and safe school facilities are lacking in many regions, exacerbating learning losses and long-term economic disparities.
Our Purpose
We dedicate ourselves to building scalable, affordable, and resilient housing projects and inclusive, well-designed school facilities in communities where these assets are most crucial yet least available — from densely populated urban informal settlements to remote rural districts where education infrastructure is scarce. We see housing and education as interconnected foundations: children who cannot sleep safely and consistently are far less likely to learn and thrive.
